My name is Lydia Castek; I am 33 years old, I am married and I have a teenage stepson.  I have 3 dogs, a huge fish tank with heaps of fish and 2 avaries of budgies and finches.  I enjoy the simple things in life and dont take anything for granted!

I did my training at Academy of nail technology in Kirwan, in Townsville with fully qualified instructor (Debra Purtell, APFA Accredited). I did my nail course then went on to do my waxing course. When I was doing my courses my husband and I renovated downstairs of our home for the business. I wanted my business to be home based due to the fact that I think home based businesses are more private, friendly and a lot more relaxed than salons in busy shopping centres.

With booking clients appointments, I make sure I book enough time inbetween clients so I don't have my clients sitting and waiting for me. In my past work history, I have worked in Hospitality for a few years, then I became a Support Worker - working with people with disabilities. I had always been interested in beauty and finally did the courses that I should have done years ago, I am so glad I did, I have no regrets, I am so happy I have my own business (I am my own boss) Yippee!!! If I can do this - anyone can.

I do Acrylic Nails with a Gel Gloss Sealant, I have various coloured nail tips which look great with the "Opal Shimmer". I do all Waxing (excluding male waxing), Manicures and Pedicures, Ear Candling, Aromatherapy Warm Paraffin Wax Treatments. I have discount for Waxing Packages. On the back of Honey dust business cards, on the fifth visit to Honey dust, you will receive a Eyebrow Wax.

I value, appreciate and respect my Clients. I always make sure my Clients are happy and satisfied before they walk out of the Salon. I have formed great friendships with all my regular clients ~ so I will look forward to meeting you soon!
